TORONTO BEACH CHORALE
Mervin Fick, conductor
Bradley Christensen, baritone
Composed in 1741 and first performed in 1742, Handel's Messiah is one of the most popular pieces in the Choral literature. Handel originally wrote Messiah for modest vocal and instrumental forces, with optional settings for many of the individual numbers, but in the years after his death, the work was adapted for performance on a much larger scale.
You won't want to miss this most beloved work.
