TORONTO BEACH CHORALE | MISSISSAUGA CHAMBER SINGERS
Mervin Fick, conductor
Bradley Christensen, baritone
The late Jack Layton conceived Messiah for the City in the late 1990s. He felt music and art should be accessible to everyone. Tickets to this special concert are not sold but rather distributed by United Way and its partner agencies to Torontonians who wouldn’t normally have access to such an event.
Toronto Beach Chorale, in partnership with Knox Presbyterian Church, presents Messiah for the City on Saturday, December 21. The performance features players from the Toronto Symphony, professional soloists, and an 80 voice chorus combining The Toronto Beach Chorale and the Mississauga Chamber Singers.
